Just wanted to say that Barb did a great job with the show today!  :)

I agree! I thought she was excellent! I hope they bring her back. It's great to see a new face on the show!

 

As an avid watcher of Cityline, I am hoping against hope that the host of today's show will be your choice. She was by far the best host I have seen since you started with the fill ins. She looked very comfortable in the host chair and did an excellent job of interacting with the guests on the show. She used just the right amount of humour and did not seen fake and uninterested like other fill in hosts i have seen. Your search should stop today and make her the permanent host of Cityline. I know talking to co-workers and a couple of friends, that they were also impressed by her and enjoyed her as host.

I agree! She was great ... what is it about the sports gals? Jody Vance, Catherine Humphries and now Barb.Those are the top three for sure.

Mmmm.... three posts for Barb from newbies to the forum.  A little suspicious. 

 
There is NO WAY that Cityline will hire after one audition.  Why do you think this has been going on for months?

Cityline producers, you're losing viewers to anything but more boring guest hosts. Now let's get on with the show.  Enough is enough

 

Barb did an amazing job of hosting the show today, given the fact that the quests were not that exciting.

Actually ellaann, I've been e-mailing cityline directly from the very start of the auditions with my feedback. I thought that would be better than posting comments.  Just thought I'd try something new this time around. I just thought Barb was different from the rest : - ) I think this is what the show needs (not an extension of BT)

As said earlier the sports gals did do well.  Hope to see Jody on Cityline again but I saw she's back to work on LeafsTV.  Hope scheduling works out so she can do it again.

Barb's had a podcast on FAN590 website for a while now along with her afternoon work.  Strange to see her host on TV after all the years on the radio. :)

Sure Kathryn might get to host again, seeing she's at the station.
