Select a host and get on with it!

Come on Cityline .... enough already ...... it's been 4 months .... select a host and get on with it before your viewers "select" another morning show!

It's taking a long time I agree...but I think I get it now...If they put enough space between the old CITYLINE....the new reformated one will be embraced!

I tune in more for the guest experts than the host so it's not bothering me too much unless the host is annoying (like Stephanie Beaumont - she interrupts the guests too much and her voice is like nails on a chalkboard). So far Elissa has been my hands-down favourite

I think all of the guest hosts did well under the challenges of this new adventure & pressure.  If I think back, the worst criticism award or gaffe would go to...............'the envelope please............."

& the winner of the guest host gaffe is :

    Liz West

Cement Cleavage with Ramsin Segment !!

(she truly interupted the entire process and Ramsin throughout the whole segment, however, it was truly entertaining !!! & AND eyefull !!)

    Congrats !

I agree. Enough is enough. In fact I have already begun to "surf" for something else to watch at this time...

Hi I am new to this site, but watch BT every day before work but I don't get to watch cityline very often. Did Marilyn retire form the show??? I assume so.

I think Tracy Moore would be perfect for this show, she is a natural.

Marylin went to CTV when the whole "sale" went down of CHUM to CTV then CityTV to Rogers. MD's radio show is on CHUM so she had to stay with the new mother ship. MD will get her own show in the new year.

God I miss her. I can't handle the daily change in hosts......I have stopped watching, to be honest, and that makes me sad because I used to live for the cooking segments and for fashion friday (sucker for a make over even though it's always a bob and "simple" make up.)

Tired of wishing for my fave as she's one of the few they didn't ask back. :(

Re: Select a host and get on with it!

Tracy is the wrong choice for Cityline.  Her fake smile doesn't work for me.  I can't relate to her the same way I did Marilyn or some of the other guest hosts.  Over the long term people will lose interest when they realize she is not funny.   From BT and now her blog, Tracy thinks she is the first person to ever have a child.  People love cute stories about children, but not every detail from birth to the first day of college.  She should stick to news.

    One vote for Kathryn.
