You obviously know how bad service is in Calgary. Too many people have disposable jobs and can quit and get a new one the same hour. Enough is enough. Why should we continue to accept this mediocre service? I think its time to recognize and support the good guys. The ones who actually like their jobs and maintain their quality service. I recently had a fantastic experience at DETAILZ. They are a car detailing shop in SE Calgary. I have three kids who treat my car like a restaurant, sandbox and a gym. It is a huge disaster. When I brought my car in to DETAILZ I was not expecting a miracle but that is exactly what I received. At the end of it all my car looked brand new. There was no sign of food, dirt or anything that my kids could have left behind. The staff was amazing. I think it is a family run business. The wife greeted and helped me "check in" and answered all of my questions. When I returned to pick up my car the owner greeted me with a smile and thanked me for my business. He showed me his team’s stellar work which was a miraculous change. The shop was clean and the team was all wearing uniforms and appeared to care about their work. Apparently the owner brought in his team from the Philippines because he couldn't find the skilled workers here in Calgary. The guys were already professional detailers just looking to give their families a better life here in Canada! It’s not everyday that you can find a place like this.
