    Yes Dina for co-host

why not Dina I say, she is funny, articulate, has flair and style, upbeat and would be great on Cityline.  The other co-hosts should take notes from Dina and how an audiance responds to her.

    Re: Yes Dina for co-host

Judging from this forum, Dina is not at all in the running for Cityline.

And, as for the others taking notes from her, Kathryn Humphries had the audience in the palm of her pretty, yet athletic, palm.

I am still perplexed as to why Dina P. is on Breakfast TV.  She is so not at the level of her predecessor, the uber-talented Liza Fromer.

Frankly, I think she is best suited to some kind of fashion programming. And that's it.

I do not watch BT any longer.  There is a fabulous alternative on NBC everyone.

I get my T.O. info elsewhere.  CBC radio is a good option.

Dina takes over the entire show and it becomes all about her.  I find her harsh and not engaging at all.  I enjoyed BT much more when she was away with her broken leg.  I would not watch CityLine if she was a host.  Kathryn Humphries has my vote!!!

I love Dina.  I think she is a very real person.  I also loved Kathryn as host, she made me laugh and I think the guests really enjoyed her as well.

I agree with Gromit - Dina is witty, nice and engaging, so is Kathryn.  I am watching CityLine today, don't know her name but she is BLAND.

Just finished watching todays show with Jenny Adams.  Really enjoyed her as host - she seemed very comfortable and the guests seemed very at ease with her.

Definitely NO for Dina.  I will be an ex-cityline watcher if she's selected as host.I only watched her once, but I turned the channel half way through the episode as I found her so grating.

I have no idea who Jenny Adams is...but I thought she was amazing today.

She seems very relaxed and comfortable in her own skin.

    Jenny Adams

Jenny Adams is a cohost on Access Education TV in Edmonton. She was also a contestant on The Bachelor during the season with Jerry O'Connell's brother (I forget his name.) I did enjoy her today, but I would like to see her (as well as all other candidates) do a full week at a time to try all the different genres of shows (home,fashion,...)

    No to jenny adams

I have to give two thumbs DOWN for this girl Jenny adams. She doesn't show the experience and personality to host a show like this. You need someone with more brains than an ex reality tv fill-in. We really shouldn't have someone who went on the show like the Bachelor and paraded herself around like a desperate women trying to seek approval from some man that they just meet! We need a professional-I think Kathryn, Dina and Jennifer V did great with show so far...at least those skeletons haven't been broadcast on national reality TV.

Re: No to jenny adams - YES TO JENNY ADAMS!!!

Obviously people have not done any researh on Jenny. She is the host of a daily educational television show called HelpTV that airs on Acess Television in Alberta and CLT nationally. She has been the host for a few years now and is not this ex reality tv fill-in that a lot of people think she is. Maybe if people would start to watch more than just the reality tv shows out there and maybe watch programs that educate oneself, they would better society.

I think Jenny did a great job and is in the running for the new host of Cityline.

    Re: No to jenny adams

I agree! NO to jenny adams. I found her to really lack personality. She comes off as if she is more important than others not to be confused with confidence which is what a good host should possess like Marilyn. She was arrogant. Today however I did find Elissa to be quite charming-very easy to watch!

    Re: No to jenny adams

I agree as well!  She needs to stop interrupting her guests.  She does that on the shows she hosts in Edmonton.  She appears fake and uninterested.  She should read more as her vocabulary is lacking and thus affects her speech and presentation. Saying things like "gonna" on TV makes her sound uneducated.  If Jenny Adams is chosen as the host, this show will drop in ratings.  Whoever is chosen as the new host definitely has big shoes to fill because Marilyn did a spectacular job!
