Ramsin's Invisible Wiring Segment from January 29th

Okay, I give up.  When watching this segment, I got the impression I could head down to my local Home Depot and grab a ready to go kit with a wall sconce, flatwire, everything I needed to actually deal with the lighting in my ancient house. Sounds good, except the nice people at Home Depot keep looking at me like I'm nuts.  The one person who had even heard of Flatwire told me he couldn't sell it - it wasn't CSA approved.

So, where do I find these kits?  I've tried various Home Depots in both Ottawa and Kingston area  and have had no luck. I live in a 160 year old house with the original lathe and plaster still on most of the walls, so this product sounds ideal.

Has anyone been able to find this?

I did find a way to order it online from the US distributor (flatwiretv) but I'm iffy if the Gloucester Home Depot wiring guy was correct and it's not CSA approved.  Old house = old wiring.  It's being replaced slowly, but unless Mike Holmes shows up with an roll of Romex in one hand and a sledge hammer in the other it's still hit and miss and quick fixes.

    Cheers
