This Morning, Thursday, I had the pleasure of joining Dina and the Gang at BT to discuss whats "Hot" and whats "Not so Hot" in wedding trends throughout 2007 and into next season. Since airing this morning, I've since received many phone calls and requests for additional information... I thought I'd add a small recap and give YOU the BT viewer the opportunity to ask away and gain a few more insites into weddings and wedding trends for the holiday season.
Just to recap - The book Dina held up was " Preston Bailey (florist and Decorator to many A-List Celeb's) called Design for Entertaining, Inspiration for Creating the Party of Your Dreams. " On a Side note "Inspriations" also by Preston Bailey is another great source of information.
What's HOT ---- intimate gatherings, personalized Ceremonies, Tasting Menus', and etible Party Favors - ORANGE- love colour, love ORANGE! I call it the new chocolate for this coming season. Also dont be afraid to get creative, taste test your own cake treats in the privacy of your own kitchen with Bridal Party members, Purchase papers from your favorite scrap booking store and create your own invites - OR a sample of one and then have your local invite pro finish it off - lets not forget, your invite is the advertising for your BIG EVENT!
