Long Run Wednesday was....LONG!

    Long Run Wednesday was....LONG!

well, it's an accomplishment to say that I ran almost 8K today...with breaks in between but hey who's counting?!

Again I'm sleep-deprived, I don't know why exactly, but spent about four hours on and off of Facebook...creeping! hee hee Then I got to Boot Camp with LOADS of time to spare, much to our boot camp instructor's surprise.

Darlene was there early too, raring to go. She hopped on a bike as to not injure herself any further. And we got to running...things started off GREAT 4 me....we ran through some trails and I was at the top of the heap for parts of it....at one point I was just so focused and kept my feet moving...but I would say about halfway through, I started to lose my energy...felt lightheaded at times and really weak, must've pushed myself too hard. Then I started to slowly end up at the back of the pack, much to my chagrin.

Of course we had to jog it up that steep hill which feels like we're in a slow-motion music video! lol In fact, we were talking about when the going gets tough...as we run, it almost feels like we're carrying TWO bodies! ha haa I said I had to use that in my Blog today.

But as always I and the rest of the team of New Recruits pushed through and ended up back at Club Fit downtown to stretch it out. I decided it would do me more harm than good to go back to sleep. So I just took a really really long time to get ready....again the slow-mo play-by-play kicked in...it kinda went like this:

And Asha picks up her toothbrush slowly...and Asha puts it down on the counter, and Asha picks up the Toothpaste slowly and Asha tries to find the strength to squeeze the toothpaste out...and she does it. Then she takes a rest...then she puts the toothpaste on the toothbrush...well, you get the point!

Poor Sean he has an injury! That's how HARD Team Citytv is working....pushing themselves and their bodies to the limit. Go Team....but please take care of yourselves.

    Sean keep me updated!!!
I think this week (Week 3) has been the toughest for me. Our instructor says this is the make it or break it point and you could tell....we missed a lot of familiar faces today. Better come back on Friday yah heard?!
