Breastfeeding Class
Growing Baby's prenatal breastfeeding classes are instructed by a certified Lactation Educator. We will provide you and your partner with information about the basics of breastfeeding and how to have a successful start. Topics Covered:

- Hunger cues
- Latching and positioning
- How to know if baby is getting enough
- Hand expression and pumping
- Storing, freezing and thawing breastmilk
- Breastfeeding resources and support Newborn Care Class
Newborn Care Class
Growing Baby's prenatal newborn care class will cover a variety of topics to help expectant parents learn more about basic baby care and become familiar with newborn communication and emotional and physical needs. We will help increase your confidence and ease the transition into parenthood.

- Diapering (cloth and disposable)
- Bathing (sponge and tub)
- Baby massage
- Co-sleeping
- Newborn behaviour and communication
- Time out cues
- Soothing techniques
- Baby safety
