    "Your City" Response

Just watching the "Your City" Nova Scotia story this evening and if I could sell my house I'd be out there as quick as I coud pack everything up!

Calgary is gettimg too big too fast and the infrastructure just can't keep up.  Between that and the fact that there is either no service or product to be found, and having the highest inflation rate in all of Canada, doesn't even come close to the highly stressed, cranky, demanding people living here.  I'm beginning to feel Torontonians are nicer than Calgarians and that's not something I thought I'd ever say.

Something's got to give and it would be better for the city to be sooner rather than later if we want to entice more people to move here instead of driving people out.  I now have friends living in Nanaimo, Comox, New Brunswick and Saskatchewan.  And they're happy they've left this city!  Let's see if we can bring back that true Calgary friendly flavour that brought me here 14 years ago!

Don't worry. As the oil price drops, less people will come here. The next recession will pounce quickly and it will be ugly. That should humble most of the shameless, thankless people in "your city".
