    Re: New Cityline Host

Watched Tracey Moore this am - thought she did a good job and came across really well.  Also thought Larysa did a good job last week and still like Christine too - my three favs so far if Cityline is checking.  Actually its quite nice to see different guest hosts - maybe they should look at certain guest hosts for certain shows - ie one always does home day, another fashion fri - etc.  Just a thought!

    Re: New Cityline Host

I just watched the show with Tracy and she wasn' t bad.  At least  she is not rude nor ditzy nor full of herself like Dina.  So many people I know stopped watching BT cause of her so please don't hire her for cityline..  I'd hate to stop watching.  So so far I like Catherine Humphries and Tracy Moore.

I agree - Tracey was great!  She has some real skills as a television host and she is very likeable and entertaining.

    I would watch her.

    Kathryn is also a frontrunner.

I also agree about BT - I am a former viewer.  Dina cannot fill the void that Liza left .... by the way, any chance of seeing Liza on Cityline??

I agree - Tracey was good. She is very likeable and entertaining. I could see her doing a good job.

I am an Ottawa girl and was very happy to see Stephanie on Cityline today.  I loved Steph when she was on A-Channel Mornings...she made me laugh on a regular basis!  She is cute, smiley and very watchable.

Stephanie is at the top of my list, with Tracey second.

I was lucky enough to be in the audience at CityLine today to see Stephanie Beaumont as a guest host!  She was definitely entertaining and personable.  She entered the room and right away introduced herself to the audience and engaged the audience in conversation throughout the whole show, even during the commercial breaks.  I found her to be a natural, without overstepping her boundaries with the guests.  She has my vote (if we could vote) for the next host.  She has a natural great comedic ability to make the show informative but still really entertaining... Just like Marilyn who had a great sense of humour.

Thank you for sharing your audience experience with us home viewers. Now did you get to try any of those tasty looking finger party sandwiches ?  I always wondered if they passed out samples of the food that was made on stage ?

I've never heard or seen Stephanie before, but OH MY, that girl was GOOOOOD!!

Fabulous personality and great ease with the guests and audience.

What a treasure!!  She is my new favourite!

I read her bio after the show and she has the right credentials for the job.

    I bet she gets it!!

    Re: New Cityline Host

No, unfortunately they never do offer the food that they make... and I know audience members have asked for it before, but maybe they want to avoid any legal action in case of allergies or bad food??  Confused

No problem, I thought I should share the "behind-the-scenes" experience with the hosts... it really does make a favourable impression on the audience when the host interacts with the audience... it shows how not pretentious they are...

AGAIN, loving Stephanie Beaumont as a host...

    Re: New Cityline Host

Stephanie was OK - but you could not shut her UP!!! She talked WAY TO MUCH and that became quite annoying. I think she was trying to hard - she needs to tone it down a bit.

    Re: New Cityline Host

Stephanie's voice was too perky/chirpy. I couldn't watch her every day.

Tracey did a great job. I loved when she did BT when Dina was away. She has a great personality.

I wonder if they would consider choosing 4 or 5 regular hosts, each assigned to a specific "day"; one for home days; someone else for fashion friday, etc.

It would be great if they could post headshots and names of all of the guest hosts on the CItyline home page, and have a link to vote for your favourite.

Idea carolr! --  I agree with you what a great idea. Put their names and pictures up. It would be nice to have a different host each day, but can't see that happening.

I couldn't even finish watching the show today with Jacqueline.

I agree about the other one have a chirpy voice. Kind of annoying after awhile listening to somebody with that type of voice.

After reading the name above.....it all makes sense now !!!~~~~~~~~~she is the sister to  Canadian actress Jill Hennesy. They have the same voice and do look alike. Much more soothing voice than others who have appeared as guess hosts.

    Re: New Cityline Host

Come on Cityline...how many tryouts are you going to throw at us...I am starting to loose interest all together???  Yesterdays host was terrible.  Even my daughter walked passed the tv and said yuch! Come on lets get with the program here!!!  Inconsistancy = dropped viewership!  Its time to put the train back on the tracks.

    Re: New Cityline Host

accents- I totally agree with you on everything.

Watched Larysa Harapyn- she was good.

Then on the today show it was Jennifer Valentyne.  I like her.

Maybe they are letting each one try out for each day. Like they all get the chance at homeday, etc.
