    Re: New Cityline Host

Well I just finished watching Friday's show and have to give high marks to Kathryn. she made me laugh a few times so I appreciated her humour and the way she handled the show.

Thumbs up to Kathryn and Christine.

    Re: New Cityline Host

I definitely agree.  Christine and Kathryn are heads and tails above the rest.  Kathryn is a natural, and hilarious to watch, but (unfortunately!) out of her comfort zone for a CityLine host.  She is fabulous, but my vote has to be Christine.  Christine is intelligent and commands the show - and knows when to let the experts speak!

Unfortunately, I missed Friday's show with Kathryn Humphries but I heard she did well.  I did however, did see yet another show with Dina...oh please the torture never ends.  Those poor chefs were trying to explain what they were doing and she goes on with random questions and totally confusing Massimo. Oh and the constant eating on the air...not attractive Dina...some self control.  Please stop her... Keep her behind the scenes because she is too much for tv.  Don't ruin my fave show with her.

    Re: New Cityline Host

I just finished watching Cityline today!!!  I am sorry to say, but I don't care for the host of todays show.  I don't know who she is but I have seen her on tv before.  I started getting really annoyed with her and her way of makeing the show about her and not about the topics that are being disscussed.  The guest were trying to talk about the different ways of doing things and different products to use, and the host was more about being seen and heard rather then about the topic of the show itself.  You need to find someone who is more about viewers.  Maybe Marylynn should pick her replacment.

I watched the show yesterday with Kimberley Sheldon as host. She is a nice person but this is not her thing. She has that whiny child voice that would turn you right off.

Watched today with Jenny Adams as host. She done a really good job.  Now I have 5 favourites. I wonder if they'll have more. If not I wish they would narrow them down.

    Hey Everyone,

I am noticing a pattern, not one ethnic person? I wonder why. If we are looking for a new fresh host, I think they need to expand their horizon. For god sake this is Canada.

Isn't Dina P. "ethnic"? Aren't we all "ethnic"? Give me a break! Why don't you just send a letter to cityline and request what ever "ethnic" it is that you are specifically looking for?!?!

    Re: New Cityline Host

I agree with you.  I thought she was exceptional.  She was completely relaxed, very funny and got on well with the "experts".  I like her style and think she should be right up at the top of those to be considered.

    Re: New Cityline Host

I missed the name, but if it was Ellissa, I thought she was lovely! I would watch her! I tuned in briefly today, but just couldn't get into watching the whole show with Christine Cordosa! Sorry, but I don't think that I would continue to watch, if she was the host! As far as the ethnic question goes, do you watch City TV??? Has any station ever given more opportunity to what you like to call "ethnic" groups?? If you are not seeing enough ethnic representation on City, you might want to do some channel surfing! There are actually channels out there without a single "majority ethnic" represented and I don't hear anyone complaining!!!

After researching, I think it was Jenny Adams that I watched and I thought she was lovely! She was funny, a little nervous, but I would love to see her have another shot at it!!!!

    Re: New Cityline Host

I'm watching Christine on Cityline as we speak.  I seem to be TUNING OUT (so I'm on the computer now).  My favourite hosts were most definately Dina and Kathryn.  Both full of the kind of energy that Marilyn has and both naturals on TV.  Marilyn was high energy, funny and charismatic.  I see all these qualities in both Dina and Kathryn.  Although most pleasant,  Christine doesn't seem to provide the kind of charisma and energy the other hosts do (something was missing from the show today and I think it was the energy/excitement Marilyn used to bring).  Unfortunately, Larissa didn't provide it either on yesterday's show and I TUNED OUT yesterday too.  Both very pleasant, personable and attractive ladies suited for TV, though, in my opinion, not the kind of TV "Personalities" that could carry a show like Cityline the way Marilyn, Dina and Kathryn seem to naturally.

Huh?  OMG give me a break with this ETHNIC thing. You can look anywhere on the TV & see lots of ethnic people. Enough is enough of these crap.

    Re: New Cityline Host

The first time I saw Christine, I thought she was great. I still do.

I have to say though that now that I have seen Jenny Adams, I think she is just a bit more fun....so she would be my first choice, Christine second, and Kathryn is third choice for me.
