HERE ! HERE! I totally agree!!! I can barely get through a couple of mins. of any given show since Marilyn left.  IF you can't get her back ( please ,please try...) at least find someone who is down to earth like her and comfortable!! Not these stuffy , arrogant ones!!!  Find someone with a sense of humour!!! The  Audience has to relate  and be at ease . I find it very uncomfrtable and embarrassing to watch !!!  There was a comedian from toronto that was on last comic standing last year ( debbie something) now THAT would be great!!! Soo funny !!

O.K CITYLINE....THE VIEWERS HAVE HAD ENOUGH....I'M SURE YOU HAVE A PRETTY GOOD IDEA BY NOW ABOUT WHAT HOSTS ARE SUITABLE AND WHICH ONES ARE NOT.....ENOUGH ALREADY!!!!!!

YOUR RATINGS ARE FALLING AND I FEEL LIKE I'M WATCHING THE SINKING OF THE TITANIC!!!!  IT WAS A BEAUTIFUL SHIP .....AND NOW ITS SINKING!!!!!!

wait....we're talking about making a final decision however i noticed that liza fromer's name has been mentioned....but i haven't seen her on...did I miss it?  i think she'd be a great host - has she done a day yet? 

doesn't liza have another show called the list or something? maybe she can't get out of it. she's ok. i really liked jody vance but i don't think she's been on more than once. they should bring her back!

LOVED JODY VANCE!!! I agree they need to make a decision!!! there are too many BORING chicks they are showing.

Jody should miss the playoffs just like the Leafs did and Liza's laugh would be the end of Cityline.  I would rather have Libby Znaimer take over. 

I really liked Liza on BT....I think it would be nice to have her back....she has a natural way about her that was easy to watch.

All these ladies who have tried out for CityLine's new host are talented, successful TV personalities in one way or another.  some are better suited to certain programs - sports, design, entertainment.  gotta tell you, I'm from Vancouver and remember Jody Vance from this city WAY back - VTV days - she's done entertainment, sports, cooking, radio, tv.  lots of different experiences that would give her different knowledge bases and viewpoints....  I've seen a few of these hosts come back to guest host for a 2nd (3rd????) time... would love to see Jody again.  

Hope to see Jody get another try too.  This week is another week of re-runs so hopefully she'll get asked back soon.  Couple of other hosts too would be good to see host again.  Second time the hosts can loosen up a bit more.

Jody Vance is hands down the best next host of CityLIne. She's smart, funny, at ease and really has a Marilyn vibe- cool, engaging, has a point of view and a great manner with the guests.

She rocked and should be the newest host.

 

I completely agree... and have been wondering when we'd see Jody again! She was comfortable and asked intelligent questions that made the guest segments more interesting instead of just reacting and posing no brainner questions. 

 

I was hoping to see a little more of Jody Vance on the "guest hosting" shows!

She just seemed so prepared and as I understand, she just had a baby in the last little while and looks AMAZING!

 I also read somewhere that she has chef training which made her a natural with the cooking parts with Massimo!

Is she being considered for a full time spot? That would be so great....I know a few people that would enjoy her and not to mention perhaps she'd draw out a little more men to watch the show, we gals know more than one guy who watches but doesn't talk about it!!

I think it is refreshing that we have had the chance to see a number of people try this out. Taking over from Marilyn is hard enough, but I cannot imagine how tough it must be to do an audition on live television. These women have been under tremendous pressure and I appreciate all of their efforts.

However, if I had to choose, there is not doubt in my mind that Cityline should hire Jacqueline Hennessy as the new host. She has a presence that is really upbeat, funny, smart, spontaneous and sassy. Her down-to-earth way of connecting to people is gracious and genuine.

Everyone who has been a guest host has had something special about them, but I think that Jacqueline has the unique combination of qualities that make her a winner.

Jacqueline Hennessy is not going to happen!

Judging from the comments on the message boards, she is not a fan favourite.  I don't think her sense of humour worked with the audience at all.  Not a natural for this kind of job.

Now back to the shortlist - seems like Jodi, Stephanie, Tracey and Kathryn are the most popular so far.
 

    you are not the only one who didn't know. l saw your question but no anwer. so what did happen to her? she was why l started to watch the show in the first place. no one can replace Marilyn Dennis. would really like to know what is going on.
