Anyone know of any plants that attract butterflies?  This garden bed faces north and doesn't get a lot of sunlight.

You might not have much luck. Butterflies love to hang out with the sun loving plants.

 

I only see the butterflies around the sunny part of my flowers. Not in the shade. Sorry to be a downer :(

Not sure if you will get this message, but there are lots of plants that butterflies love and I have a couple of them in my garden.
One is the Butterfly Bush (Humming birds also like this one), coneflowers, butterfly weed (mine is just starting to bloom), bee balm and yarrow. These are the ones I have at the moment in my garden and there is plenty more out there.

Edited to add ... One of my butterfly bushes is on the north side of my house and I get butterflies and humming birds all season.
