    Re Catherine Marion totally fake.

I agree - fake big boobs are just plain silly on a skinny mother of four.

    Too L.A. for T.O.

Prefer the other Kathryn - a natural beauty

    Re: New Cityline Host

I don't mean to be unkind but watching Catherine Marion is like watching Mary Hart "gone daytime"..... a very disturbing thought!!!

I have never posted on a forum until this Cityline thing came up but this whole thing affects me greatly. This show has always been so great that I don't want to see it fail.

    In my mind, I would like the new host to be someone with whom I would want to go out for coffee - a real person who is fun to be with but at the same time someone who has the professionalism to do this job. So far this is a very short list. I think that I could watch the following people doing CItyline;

Jenn - she is professional but comes across as funny and likeable

Stephanie - she is like a breath of fresh air and seems to be very interested in the topics being presented - very cute and engaging and judging from her resume is not a "lightweight"

Tracey Moore seems to be very comfortable in this role

Dina is overly enthusiastic but is funny and professional

Kathryn Humphries was great but I think her niche is sports reporting

Christine Cordoso was lovely but has disappeared off the radar.

There is no doubt that Marilyn owned this show but as many have said she had 19 years to hone her skills. This show is losing it's edge by carrying on with these audtitions for too long.

Yes - daytime Mary Hart clone!!!  You're absolutely right!

Elissa should be on the list.  She is outstanding.

I hope she gets it.   She is the BEST candidate.

Are you as sick of the revolving door as I am?   Please Cityline find a new host.

    Re: New Cityline Host

My question is.....why doesn't CityLine just tell us when their new season with the new host  is going to begin? Surely they're reading these messages!!!   Maybe if we knew this information we would be more patient. WHY IS CITYLINE BEING SOOOOO SECRETIVE? I think they owe their fans at least that.  Maybe they should hire a communications/public relations person....THEY REALLY NEED ONE - oh wait, never mind....it might take them as long to find one of those at it is finding a new host.

CityLine, if you want to keep your fans.....let us know what it is you have in store for your show and loyal fans!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Re: New Cityline Host

CityLine had an absolutely awful host today!  Karen Sealy should never again host a show. She was laughing inappropriately throughout the show and was more than annoying. I have never had to turn off a CityLine episode before but today's episode was intolerable. Furthermore, I have never posted anything before but I felt so strongly about Karen Sealy that I felt the need for CityLine to be aware that it is turning off longtime fans.

    Re: New Cityline Host

I really liked Karen's look today. Maybe it was her top. The colour or style was very flattering.

I was almost hypnotized. Really. Loved it !!

    Re: New Cityline Host

Just checked next week's show guide and cannot believe that Catherine Marion is still in the running. I will never watch the show again if she gets it.

She is the most annoying of all the candidates - totally phony!!!

    Re: New Cityline Host

I am glad to see that Catherine Marion will be back to host again! I find her fun, lady like and yet down to earth.

As far as the Mary Hart clone statement goes: Isn't Mary Hart a HUGE success on Entertainment Tonight? I would take that as a compliment if I were Catherine Marion!

I liked Karen Sealy too. She's like the "girl next door" that we all wish we had living next door. She seems fun, easy going, and has a great laugh! Not to mention her decorating skills!!!! The chef's also seemed to have fun with her hosting for the day.

Glad to see that they didn't "goop up" Elissa's hair again!

    Re: New Cityline Host

Are you kidding me!!  Catherine Marion drives me crazy!  She seems to be overacting everything, she laughs after every comment she makes (I guess she finds herself pretty funny), and she is pretty much clueless about home decor!  Couldn't stand her.  Won't be able to watch the show if they pick her.

    Re: New Cityline Host

Thanks Madun. Now I know I'm not completely off the mark here.

I thought today's show was fabulous - just like Fashion Friday was before all this turmoil.

Jenn seems to be getting better with each guest spot. Her chemistry with the experts and the audience is great and she has the professionalism of a seasoned broadcaster which she is.

    Re: New Cityline Host

I totally agree with Salfost, Jennifer is the one. She fits so well with the show, she is at ease with the guests.  Most of all she doesn't talk over her guests.  Please Cityline, its time to pick the new host.  I won't be watching on Monday, and Tuesday, as I don't care for the lady hosting.

    Re: New Cityline Host

I agree as well.  Jennifer is settling into the position very nicely.   She has done a solid job every show and keeps getting better.  I would be shocked if they picked someone else.

    Re: New Cityline Host

I don't agree with the pro-Jennifer camp and there are many others on this forum who feel likewise.

Choosing Jennifer V. is a compromise.  To host a show of this stature, you need talent, smarts, humour and personality galore!! We want exceptional, not pretty good.

Big mistake to pick her - I prefer Elissa (who gives a hoot about her hair product!!!!) and the fab sportscaster last week - Barb.  Even Catherine Marion would be a better choice.

JV is NOT a "seasoned broadcaster."  What dictionary are you using???
