I also loved Katherine Humphries...... funny, funny, funny and real. Tracey would be my second choice. Pleeeeeease no Kimberly Seldon. I enjoy watching her when she's on, but full time? No thanks. Her voice drives  me nuts as well. Third choice - Dina - better than I thought she'd be. Sorry, Dina.

I think Charsmom hit the nail on the head and raises alot of good points! In any case, there are only 6 days to go and all of our question will be answered.............lets hope~!

That's what I thought as well.  Just checked next week's schedule and, believe it or not, guest hosts all week.

    Re: New Cityline Host

I totally agree!!  I would love for Katherine to host, she's a real natural and she doesn't have to try to be funny, she just is. I remember when Kimbery Seldon had her own show years ago, I couldn't watch it for very long. Even though she is a top notch designer, she can't host. I think Marilyn's shoes will be hard to fill, I watched her for 18 years. And loved her.

Not happy to see Catherine Marion guest hosting TWICE next week. She is a terrible fit for this show - seems to be full of herself and not natural or funny. I can't relate to her at all!!!

Love Jenn, followed by Stephanie Beaumont and have decided that Dina might not be bad as she is at least  funny and could maybe curb her enthusiasm a bit if she were chosen.

Just had to turn "Makeover Madness" off because of Catherine Marion. She is totally fake.

Running out of patience with these auditions. There have been two really good candidates - Jenn and Stephanie. Let's hire one of them and get on with it!!!

ok, I will admit. I like the revolving door of guest hosts.  I am enjoying the variety.

I agree Sammy, after a couple of months of Marilyn withdrawel...whining and complaining about some of the hosts...I now, am enjoying the variety.  I love the new time slot too!  I KNOW!?  Who would have thought??  :D

A nice thing about having rotating guest hosts........if you didn't like todays host, there's always tomorrow!

    Re: New Cityline Host

Could it be that they have offered the job to someone and they said no or that they can't get out of their present contract until a certain date. If they are going to carry on with guest hosts for awhile could they at least be the same ones each week instead of bringing in new ones all of the time. Next week on Monday is someone called Barb DiGiulio and I don't remember her being on before. Then on Tuesday it's Karen Sealy who I really like but we know she isn't going to be the new host of the show.

    Re: New Cityline Host

As someone has already pointed out, Marilyn's leaving was only a surprise to the viewers. The producers had plenty of notice and certainly could have begun the "audition" process long before they did. I think already many of us "faithfuls" are getting frustrated and looking for something else to watch. We have had all summer and are now well into the Fall with no end in sight. This does not bode well for the production team.
