Ep. 2 - Days of Our Lives
Photo Day
Today was a VERY interesting day… we had a photo shoot on camera with Nolé. The catch? We were modeling with SEAFOOD! It was crazy! Sinead had to wear an octopus because I couldn’t do it… it was way too scary for me. They made me put it on my head and I started bawling! I felt like such a loser for crying but my body couldn’t help it since I was so scared. So I ended up wearing a TON of snails on my head as a hat. It turned out very pretty but also very heavy and at times even a little messy. The snails were somewhat still alive so when they were glued to my head the heat killed them and they bled all over me… lovely! The photo shoot turned out to be really fun though with Nolé and I’m pretty sure it’s been the coolest one yet! Judging day tomorrow… We all need sleep… talk to you later.
Elimination Day
Today was another judgement day and once again I was in the bottom two, this time, with Jacqueline. I think the fact that Jackie was in the bottom two was a shock to all the girls and myself. She was such a nice girl and usually took very good pictures but I think the judges saw her as too low key for the industry. I ended up getting ANOTHER chance at proving to the judges that I have what it takes to be Canada’s Next Top Model. I’m hoping that we have a runway challenge tomorrow because I know that’s what I excel in and I would really like to show Tara that there are other girls in this competition that can walk on a runway other than her.
All eight girls got a camera tonight to keep as a gift. We’re supposed to take pictures and put them up on the board. I think it might be a challenge to see who can create the best self-portrait or to see how we are at taking pictures. Regardless it should be fun.
