Ep. 8 - It's Been Nuts

Boy oh boy! Today has been an interesting trip. We had an idea that two of us were going home so we were pretty freaked out about the whole situation. The judges were really hard on Sinead, and tough on the rest of us as well. They were saying that Sinead's outfit was garbage which pissed me off because I have the same shirt. Its tough sometimes in judging because they tell you one thing then ask for the other. I was presently surprised to have had my Cover Girl photo look not like a big piece of garbage. I worked really hard at the shoot and I was confident but also a little nervous for the picture. Since the top prize is a contract with Cover Girl I knew that I had you had to show you could do a shoot for them. It just makes sense this way. So Tia went home on an extremely crazy note to say the least. Jay had called her name and she thought that she was staying then he told her that she was going home. Its came as a real shocker to her and I felt horrible. *Props* Tia on being a super fun girl. Then is was down to me and Tara, I love Tara and me and her being up there was really rough. My picture was flipped over but Tara and I hugged and she said "I love you ***" in my ear. It was tough but that just how the competition is, people have to go home. Well is been nuts, so I gotta jam to bed. Latter days biotches!

Ep. 7 - The Challenge Winner!

Oh my! A lot of interesting things have gone down since the last judging. I'm pretty sure Cori is really upset with me because of the comments I had at last judging. I hope she turns them into a positive for herself because tonight she was sent home. It was down to Tara and Cori, and well Cori went home. It's getting down to the crunch of things and the four of us left have pretty good relationships. At judging they said my photo was really good but it didn't fit the magazine. Apparently I needed to be more smiley! It's tough because I had grins and smiles in some of my photos but my best photo didn't have a smile in it. Oh the joys of judging, its always a crazy experience. I'm glad that Tara was able to stay because she's my girl and I like having her around. It's tough because the pressure is on and we all have good relationships, which make things harder. The house is getting empty, for which I can only be pleased that I'm still here. I won a challenge and part of my prize was to see my boyfriend. Man o man, its crazy having him at the house and I'm glad that he was able to see the insanity that I now call my home. It was kind of awkward at first, but it was amazing to see him. In the next shoot I plan on killing it. Well gotta jam!

Ep. 6 - Unimpressed and Frustrated

So I’m not to impressed with the judges today. I understand that coming to a conclusion about sending someone home is a hard choice, but to keep both is just unheard of. I think I’m most upset because this elimination round I was chosen first because I produced a great photo. Its just tough because I want this so bad, and its just so dang frustrating. Tia and Tara were in the bottom two, and I think Tia was really surprised with that. I was told during my one on one with the judges that I had to tell them a misconception about someone in the group. I said that Cori was kind of fake and that she didn’t act like she does in front of us in front of the judges. Cori is a great girl but she needs to be more open and feel more comfortable in certain situations. This competition gets tougher and tougher as the weeks go on but to be honest I’m trying my best to stay strong and push through. I will not be beaten by someone by default or any other reason. This is what I want and I’m going to continue to work hard, for the best results. Later days!

Ep 5 - Home and Away

God do these days ever suck the big one!! It's getting down to very few of us which always means that the competition is getting harder. Mo went home tonight and that made me cry. Mo's smile is the shiznat, and i'll definitely miss her comments. She would say out loud what most people are thinking but afraid to say. I thought she was truly hilarious! The days seem to get pretty long but it's worth it for sure, and I'm always looking forward to the upcoming challenges. On a sort of unrelated topic, I really miss my boyfriend and friends back home. I'm not use to being away from home for this long, as well as being away from my man. Things at the house are going alright, but being in a house full of girls for this long is absolutely insane. It's like hanging out with a friend for too long and eventually you get tired of each other, and want to send them home. How I'm going to send these girls home is kick ass individually, as well as collectively! Well it's been a long day, getting tired.

Ep. 4 - Highs and Lows

Eliminations...always tough. I was pretty nervous because I know that I hadn't done well in the media challenges, and I hadn't seen the finish product of the shoot. When I did see the shoot my photo was really good. I think that that has been my best photo yet, so I was pretty stoked. It was tough because my girl Gina got sent home. I cried and felt like a part of us was missing. The other girls that had been eliminated I will miss, but me and Gina connected and always had a blast together. Me and Tara I feel were the most upset because we had good times. I'll miss her smile and positive attitude as well. I'm looking forward to upcoming challenges, and how I will perform. I know I have to show who I am in the judging room, but I feel as though I should listen as opposed to talking so much. Its hard to know what they want, but the best advise is to "fake it, till you make it". Well I should go get my beauty sleep. Hahaha....

Ciao!

Ep. 3 - Real World Exposure

The past little while has been crazy! Miss Jay taught us runway, and we had a wicked time skating with a guys hockey team. It was a nice change to talk to people not involved in the competition, and guys in general. Girls can get a little much for me at times. I’m so use to being around my boyfriend and guy friends that the house is insane for me. Had an interesting time shooting for a Venus Breeze commercial (note sarcasm*). I was so terrible at memorizing my lines as well as trying to act girly for the shoot. It showed in eliminations when my “best shot” was played on the TV. I have a lot of things to work on, and I’m looking forward to the days to come. As for Steff who went home, I’m going to miss you, and all the best.

And thanks for all of your comments so far, it’s so great to get your support! Ciao!

Ep. 2 - Like an Emotional Rollercoaster...

Today was insane! I realize from the elimination that anything can happen. The bottom two were Steff and Jacqueline. I was really surprised Jacqueline was in the bottom two and eventually eliminated because she takes fabulous photos. I felt really super bad because she was really upset and I imagined myself in her position and I would have had the same reaction as she did. Jacqueline is such a talented great girl and I know she will do well in the industry. I hope to see her photo in a magazine very soon!

When the rest of us got to the house there were gifts from Jay with a card. The card basically said that he wanted us to practise and put photos up in the house. The gifts were digital cameras. Everyone is really stoked about it. Looking forward to taking some great pics. I was told in the eliminations that I need to focus and practise some poses and different facial expressions. I'm excited for tomorrow, and bringing a lot of energy to the next shoot. Not to sure what will be happening tomorrow but I'm sure it'll be quite "out there". With my new red ‘pulp fiction' hair (as I like to call it) I really need to work it!! Anyways, I'm super tired and ready for bed. Ciao!

Ep. 1 - The Adventure Begins!

So today was the first elimination day, and let me tell you it was a trip. I was really super nervous, and totally stressed out. After seeing my photo from the shoot I was a little discouraged. The judges said that my lower body looked a little weird and out of place, and also that my hands were awkward. All I can really do is take what they say and step it up in the next shoot. When elimination came around, I was trippin' out, but Jay called me third. Took some edge off but I was still pretty freaked out for the rest of the girls. It's tough cause it is a competition but you do have friendships, so don't really want to see anyone go.

I must say though that I wasn't to upset when Mika left. She said when the judges were deliberating that she "didn't want to be in the house", and that pissed me right off. We were all freaking out cause we didn't want to go home and to hear her say that made me freaking pissed off. After it was all said and done I'm pretty happy about who stayed and who went. When we got back to the house there was a hot tub in the backyard and that was a super awesome surprise. Looking forward to hopping in there tomorrow night. Not sure what's going to happen tomorrow, but like everyday here in Canada's Next Top Model land, it will be a crazy adventure. Night!
